Volunteer

The Dayton is always looking for volunteers! We love when people give time to our residents because it aids in our mission to improve their quality of life, every day. Many of our residents are not fortunate enough to have family or loved ones in the area, so every volunteer’s time and kind words can go a long way. If you’re interested, contact our Activities Director to discuss options and apply. Some ideas include:

Create your own group activity:

  • Sing-alongs

  • Game nights

  • Discussion groups

  • Book clubs

  • Faith-based studies

Join existing activities to socialize:

  • Poker – 6:00pm Mondays and Thursdays

  • Bingo – 3:30pm Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays

  • Social Hour – 7:00pm nightly

Chaperone annual events:

  • Promised Land picnic outing

  • Veterans Day meal

  • Holiday parties & dances

  • …and more.

 
You can also donate more than just time to the residents at the Dayton. We are always happy to accept new hygiene items (soaps, shaving cream, etc.) and gently used clothing. If you have any questions about donations, feel free to contact our Activities Director at 262-657-6121.

Snap-on Tools has been a long-time sponsor of the Dayton residents, coordinating packages from Santa each December.
